In 1875 the saddler and upholsterer Georg Löhlein laid the headstone for the company located in Wendelstein. What was once started by the great-grandfather Stefanie Raum has pursued until today – based on her relentless passion for fabrics, furniture and accessories. The appreciation of the smallest detail makes for the subtle distinction. Fading materials such as marble or leather develop patina and thus their unique character as part of a room and its living history. Stefanie Raum draws from the experiences of decades of family tradition and makes the transition to contemporary sources of inspiration – by frequently travelling to special places in Afrika, Asia, Europe and the USA.

Fully furnished

Inspired by a trip to Asia a „private dining“ room for up to 14 persons was built in an annex, with an additional wing for parents to stay on the ground floor and children on the first floor. Whether from the steam bath, shower or tub – by request there is a direct view to the large TV screen from every perspective. Individual dressing rooms offer plenty of storage. The building kept in white is impressively accentuated with indirect lighting: sophisticated natural materials such as wool rugs and textile wallcoverings, linen, leather and silk – special woods, leaf silver and stone. Modern photography and Asian art set the focus, connecting the Japanese landscaped garden with a barbecue house including a modern exterior kitchen.

Guest house

Aside from underground parking the idea was to create a guest house with a gourmet kitchen and large dining area for up to 18 guests. Two bedrooms were added. Because of close personal relations the architecture is in reminiscence of the Far-East – with precious fabrics, typical patterns and colours as well as accessories and Asian art.

Dining Room

Rooms in a new light. The consequent reflection of modern design, harmonious colours and precious materials creates rooms with a character and presents them in an entirely new light. Considering the initial situation during the planning stage we develop a masterplan based on single design steps – as special and unique as the owner. Customization is an essential component for an individual image and atmosphere. In our example the sideboard was specially designed and custom-made, with shelves out of leather and striking cross-stitches as elegant detail. By choosing valuable furniture, softly draped fabrics, skilfully placed light effects and finishing accessories together with you we create rooms that speak their own language. Rooms with a significance in the smallest detail.
